All Our Yesterdays

First, I can't believe how little time I have had to read this month. I suppose work and binge watching Sons of Anarchy has taken up most of my time. But enough of that. The lovely book fair ladies let me pick out a book at the book fair and I was drawn to this gem. This is the story of Em and Marina and Finn and Finn and James and James. What the heck you say? Well, this is a book of best friends, young love and a machine that will change everything. When James invents time travel to bring his parents back, the world goes a little mad. James becomes unrecognizable to his friends and they must commit to a plan that will stop the machine from ever being invented. Em has tried 15 times to stop what happens, and this trip to the past may be her last chance. Will she and Finn have the strength to do what must be done in order to stop the disaster waiting in their future? Will they even have a future? This is filled with twists and turns and an ending that will have you at the edge of the couch- or wherever you choose to read it. I loved the characters and how they change from their past selves into their future selves. And I almost love that there isn't a perfect ending. But not quite... You never know what is coming next and the idea of time travel is somehow less appealing than it may have been. So my adventure seeking readers- this one won't let you down. Onward to the next adventure. Happy reading my friends!
