Devouring the Gray

Four Paths is one of those places people don’t leave. And if they do, they don’t remember. On the edge of the town is the Gray. People who go in, don’t come out. Something lurks in the Gray waiting for some slip up. The founding families protect the town. They are bestowed with certain powers when they reach a certain age. Violet’s family is from Four Paths. When her sister dies, her mother returns to Four Paths. Soon Violet begins to notice some odd things. Like she can bring back things from the dead. She attracts the attention of Justin, Isaac and Harper, members of the other founding families. They all come together to try and keep the Gray from infiltrating the town and destroying more lives. Unfortunately none of them know the whole story about the founding of the town and they will find themselves up against evil from even unlikely places. This book reminds me of Stranger Things and Vampire Diaries combined. Founding families, supernatural roots, friends becoming more than friends and death. I enjoyed the story and would go back to read the sequel when it arrives. Happy reading my friendsQ
