Forgotten
What if you couldn't remember anything from the past? Your brain resets every night at 4:33. The only way you know what happened to you is by the notes you leave by the side of your bed. What if your only memories are of the future...? Meet London Lane. Typical teenage girl with an atypical memory. Every day is a challenge for her, only a couple of people know her secret. Her mother and her best friend are the only ones who know why she seems kind of different to everyone else. Then a beautiful, kind boy rolls into her life- Luke. Luke is great, and London finds herself falling for him. It's like she's meeting him for the first time every time. He takes her breath away. And then she finds out he's been lying to her the whole time. He knows her secret- he went to camp with her when she was little. She is furious and tries to erase him from her memories. But Luke won't give up and pursues her until she will let him back into her life. This resets some other memories, of a funeral. But London soon realizes the funeral is from the PAST and figures out she had a brother who was kidnapped and presumed dead. This changes everything. Can London change the future and save those she loves or will she have to watch devastating events unfold? I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters are great, the storyline is interesting and there is never a dull moment. The ending leaves you hanging just enough to wish you could see into the future too. I highly recommend this first novel of Cat Patrick's and I won't forget that in the morning. Happy reading my friends!
